Jr. makes only red wines. The vineyard was planted in 1997.
There are 20 acres of grapes, with merlot at ,

Philosophy: My approach to winemaking is old-fashioned. All
natural, nothing added, nothing taken away, unfined and unfiltered. It’s
all about capturing the essence of the grape. My wines are
straight-forward, big, full bodied, robust reds. I hope

Bob and Lelo Kerivan founded the winery in 1986 when they converted a 75 acre
field in southern Oregon's Illinois Valley to Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Riesling,
Gewürztraminer, and Pinot Gris grapes. Bridgeview Winery is home of
the famous Blue Moon wines in the blue bottles. Blue Moon Riesling, Chardonnay,
and Pinot Noir with the exclusive crescent moon shaped bottle
The Kerivans use dense planting with their rows of vines only six feet apart
and pruning the vines to 20 buds based upon european traditions. Today, the
winery has a storage capacity of 300,000+ gallons and a production capacity
of 100,000+ cases, which makes Bridgeview one of the largest wineries in Oregon
René Eichmann Lelo's son is the winemaker. Bridgeview
produces: moderately priced, gracious wines in the varietals of
Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Muscat, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir,
and Riesling. Bridgeview is most famous for their line of "Blue
Moon" Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Other lines include
Black Beauty Merlot and a premium line that includes Reserve Pinot
Gris and Reserve Pinot Noir.

The winery opened in 19911 and is owned by Daune and Kathy
Bowman. The couple chose the name “Cricket Hill” to
underscore the fact that, although the vineyard is
small, the grapes it produces have uniquely intense, full
flavors, much like a small cricket with a
loud chirp.The winery specialize in the noble grapes of Bordeaux

The Devitt family opened their doors in 2004. Jim Devitt first
started out in 1971 as the owner and winemaker of Pope Valley
Winery in Napa County, Jim started his Oregon adventure as a vineyard
but soon was back in the winemaking business. Starting with a Pinot Gris.
Since then the list has grown with several wines: Chardonnay,
Shiraz Blush, Precipice (a blend), Merlot, Cabernet Franc,
Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and a dessert wine called “Le
Petite Oink”. All the reds except the Shiraz are “Estate
Bottled” and 100% varietal.

Jacksonville Vineyards winery is unique in Southern Oregon
for its exclusive use of French oak barrels, years of barrel
aging, and estate production of its wines. The winery is owned
by DAve and Pam Palmer Over the last 15 years, the two have
created beautiful gardens, planted vineyards and built their
winery while renovating an 1897 homestead.
They use 100% French oak barrels with 1/3 of those new each
year. Their classic Bordeaux wines are aged 24-38 months in
barrel while our lighter style Sangiovese goes into more neutral
barrels and ages just 12 months. They bottle 2400 cases annually
of 10 different wines with the majority being Red Wines.

his reply. And so began a long journey to create what is now named LongSword
Vineyard

In mid 2004, Herb Quady began as winemaker at Troon Vineyard
located in the Applegate Valley. He also worked at at Bonny
Doon Vineyard. Herb's parents becme interested in wines while
visiting In 2005 they started their winery clearling the land
100 acres of south facing hillside. By July of 2006,
15 acres of Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Viognier were planted
in the Central Meadow, which is now called Mae's Vineyard.
In 2007, they added two more acres, primarily composed of
Viognier and Cabernet Franc.

Schmidt Family Vineyards is owned by Judy and Cal Schmidt and began with a dream of farming. Cal grew up on a wheat
farm in Kansas. Though a successful businessman he longed to farm the land. He began taking classes in viticulture
and winemaking. In 2000 the old Bennett Ranch on the fertile Kubli Bench was purchased and became the setting for what
is now the Schmidt Family Vineyards.
The vineyard planting began in 2001 with of Merlot, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon
. By 2007 new vines will include lesser known varietals such as Albarino, of
Spanish origin .
Case production in 2006 was 1700
Along with the fertile vineyards, and a large picturesque
pond, several acres of herb and flower gardens have been created

They making only small lots (mostly

Philosophy has always
been traditional and minimalist. We continue to strive
to bring only the best fruit into the winery from small
estate vineyards and to let the nature of the grapes express
themselves. Our goal is to make the perfect wine, to make
no compromises in our approach and our effort to achieve
this.

Valley View Winery

Located near the nationally recognized historic town of
Jacksonville, in the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon,
Valley View was originally established by pioneer Peter
Britt in the 1850’s. The winery ended with Britt’s
death in 1906. The name was restored in 1972 by the Wisnovsky
family for their vineyard and winery planted in the beautiful
Applegate Valley just nine miles from Jacksonville.
Since the Applegate Valley is considerably sunnier, warmer
and drier than elsewhere in western Oregon, Valley View concentrates
on Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Viognier, Syrah and Tempranillo
at their estate vineyard.

The winery is located on a rolling hillside overlooking
the Applegate River Valley. The vineyard 56 acres planted
in twelve varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet
Franc, Syrah, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Viognier, Sangiovese,
Zinfandel, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Tempranillo. The first
grapevines were planted at Wooldridge Creek in the 1970s.
The winery is owned by Ted Warrick, Mary Warrick, Greg
Paneitz, and Kara Olmo.
The winery produces 2,500 cases per year of premium varietal
wines and unique blends.
